[…] out Corina’s fitness and health journey on her Live Fit blog.
Once my relationship with food was resolved, I had gone through a full cycle of reverse dieting and then cutting (dieting back down), and then doing a length building phase to gain some more muscle, I was in such an amazing place in my journey. I was beyond confident with my body and where I was at mentally. My love for lifting was stronger than ever and I ended up beginning a new powerlifting program. I had no intention of competing or anything, but I wanted to feel even stronger! This is where my fitness, food, and health journey took a drastic turn and life as I knew it would NEVER be the same…Spread the love13191.8K 191.8KSharesFrom clean eating to orthorexia to bodybuilding to flexible dieting to full time recipe developer to powerlifting to spinal disease to autoimmunity to full time lifestyle blogger and everything in between, this blog serves as my personal fitness and recipe journal. This is where another new journey began and I’m thankful you are here to share it with me. I have truly come full circle when it comes to philiopshy surrounding food, fitness, and life. ... […] recall how it happened. Somehow I was directed to Corina Nielsen’s blog, live fit, and THIS particular post which led me to Layne Norton‘s vlogs and countless hours of research. She didn’t have a lot of weight to lose, but through her journey to reverse dieting […] ... […] Lastly, Corina’s blog has an insightful life story about how she achieved to feel uncomfortable under her skin. Corina talks about the mistakes she made and how she learned from them. In a way, I could relate to her. I have never owned a scale to keep track of my weight because I did not think I was “fat” but I knew I was not fit either, I was not comfortable under my skin.
Creating a fitness journey Instagram is a great way to keep yourself motivated, track progress, and interact with people in the fitness community.
Some people choose to have two Instagram accounts: One for their everyday life, and one for their online fitness journey. To achieve maximum engagement, we recommend having a dedicated account just for your fitness progress. The community of Instagrammers looking to support and follow other fitness-lovers may be more inclined to follow a dedicated-fitness account. However, that doesn’t mean your account can’t have personal flair. Many famous Instagrammers share posts about working out with their families, and sharing healthy meals with friends.Ask your family and friends to follow you along your fitness journey. The support you receive from them will help you stay on track. The fitness Instagram world is OBSESSED with hashtags. Spend some time exploring popular fitness accounts that you admire. Then, make a list of all the hashtags those people use. Begin to tag your photo captions with these hashtags where they make sense. (Pro Tip: Don’t tag a photo with #healthyrecipe if it has nothing to do with food.)But most importantly, remember that this fitness journey is about YOU. Any steps you take toward building a happier, healthier you are good steps. Getting more followers is not a reflection of your success or failure.Do you need guidance on your personal fitness journey? Our team of professional personal trainers will give you the tools and advice you need to reach your fitness goals. (We can also hold the camera for you.) Part 1 Hello There! “My Fitness Journey” was a long, 3 part series, that I did when I first started my blog. Why you may ask? BECAUSE IT’S IMPORTANT! I wanted to share my fitness journey with you guys before…
I wanted to share my fitness journey with you guys before I started sharing too many meals, fitness tips or acting like a know it all about healthy living. I think it’s important to share this information because I am not a registered dietitian or a trainer of any sorts. Keywords: healthier and happier. I want you to change because of those reasons and not because you think you should be a certain number on a scale. My fitness journey will never be a finished series, your body changes everyday & it’s a life long commitment to a healthier lifestyle.Yet, I am a person who lost a significant amount of weight, has kept it off and has dedicated their life to living a healthy lifestyle. Some of you have watched and have been there for my journey since the beginning, while others are reading about this for the first time. To put it out there plain and simple though, I lost close to 30 lbs when I was 16 years old. While that may not seem like a huge or significant number to some, on my tiny 5ft frame – it was huge. Throughout my whole journey, my heaviest was 140 (please remember how short I am) and my lowest was 100.I was SO exhausted of obsessing over it all – finally I looked in the mirror and felt at peace. The bottom line is, I want to be fit, I want to be happy, & healthy, but I also want to LIVE. I want to get dessert on date nights, and enjoy brunch with my friends.
